Meet Katja Cepeda: Virtuoso Pianist and Inspiring Educator
Katja Cepeda, a pianist known for her passion and versatility was born in Warendorf, Germany. She is fluent in German, English, and Czech, reflecting her diverse cultural background.
Katja started playing the piano at five and graduated with honors from the University of the Arts in Bremen. She co-founded the Max Reger piano duo in 1998, showcasing Reger's masterpieces globally. As a soloist, she contributed to projects featuring Beethoven, Brahms, and Hanns Eisler.
In addition to her concert performances, Katja has excelled in the world of musicals, gracing stages in theaters in Europe.
As a dedicated piano teacher, Katja's teaching philosophy is rooted in fostering a deep connection between her students and the music, tailoring her approach to individual aspirations and capabilities.
