Every student commences their private lesson experience with one trial lesson at a discounted rate. This trial lesson determines if the teacher is the right fit and if the length of lesson matches the student’s age and experience. After a successful trial lesson, students sign up for a yearly subscription and you get a credit in the full amount of the trial lesson.

For beginners, our lessons ensure that even after just one session, students will leave with the ability to read and play at least one song. The lesson covers fundamental aspects such as learning note names, understanding their placement on the piano, and grasping finger numbering conventions for both hands. Students will gain insight into the bass clef for the left hand and the treble clef for the right hand.

Our approach extends beyond playing the piano; we guide students on piano etiquette, teaching them how to position their hands and arms correctly. Emphasis is placed on maintaining good posture and adjusting the stool or bench to the right height. While mastery evolves over time, we introduce these concepts early on, setting a foundation for success.

Recognizing the significance of technique in playing, our lessons begin with a focus on proper technique, explaining the "what" and "why" behind each step. Join us for an immersive experience that not only introduces you to the joy of playing the piano but also equips you with the essential skills for a musical journey.

Learning piano requires focus, hours of practice, proper guidance and consistent effort. Everyone has its attention span, meaning the time before you start losing your concentration. As a rule of thumb, attention lasts for 45 minutes in adults. For small children until 7 we recommend to start with 30 minutes.

Recommended for advanced students, who want to focus in solving a technical challenge, or need advice for further practicing.
